Ian Epps - ianepps.com

Ian Epps is a Brooklyn based sound artist whose work explores psycho-acoustics and audio phenomena. Through indeterminacy, he combines room tone and feedback to construct densely layered harmonic fields.
His compositions, soundtracks and field recordings have been exhibited in museums and institutions internationally at venues including the Museum of Modern Art, the Walker Art Center, Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center, and Carré d’Art – Musée d’art Contemporain (Nîmes, France), among others.
He has composed, collaborated and performed alongside artists and musicians such as Ann Hamilton, Dara Friedman, Rafael Toral, Mountains, Woody Sullender, Jozef van Wissem, Joe McPhee, and Pauline Oliveros. Floor Overhead

Floor Overhead is the Brooklyn based project of guitarist Andrew Farwell. Influenced by minimalism, drone metal, math-rock, and IDM, Floor Overhead presents a collage: clean guitar recordings, processed guitar, and synths, pummeled into guitar amplifiers.

Floor Overhead’s most recent work, Uses For Pavement, saw release on UK label Whitelabrecs in July 2017.
