Jon Porras is an NYC artist who has made experimental music for over a decade. He has published a wide range of audio works with Geographic North, Important Records, Root Strata and Thrill Jockey Records. His work has been featured in Pitchfork, The Wire, and Vice Magazine. He has performed extensively throughout North America and Europe and has collaborated with musicians Evan Caminiti (as Barn Owl), Jefre Cantu-Ledesma, Ellen Fullman, Stephen O’Malley, Jacob Felix Heule, and visual artists Paul Clipson and Wilhelm Sasnal. He was born in Long Beach, California and lives in Brooklyn, New York.

Ian Epps - ianepps.com

Ian Epps is a Brooklyn based sound artist whose work explores psycho-acoustics and audio phenomena. Through indeterminacy, he combines room tone and feedback to construct densely layered harmonic fields.
His compositions, soundtracks and field recordings have been exhibited in museums and institutions internationally at venues including the Museum of Modern Art, the Walker Art Center, Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center, and Carré d’Art – Musée d’art Contemporain (Nîmes, France), among others.
He has composed, collaborated and performed alongside artists and musicians such as Ann Hamilton, Dara Friedman, Rafael Toral, Mountains, Woody Sullender, Jozef van Wissem, Joe McPhee, and Pauline Oliveros. He was a recipient of the 2014 New York State Council on the Arts Media Arts Assistance Grant and has released music on SoftL/Tomlab, Grain of Sound, Baskaru and Powershovel Audio.

Floor Overhead

Floor Overhead is the Brooklyn based project of guitarist Andrew Farwell. Influenced by minimalism, drone metal, math-rock, and IDM, Floor Overhead presents a collage: clean guitar recordings, processed guitar, and synths, pummeled into guitar amplifiers.

Floor Overhead’s most recent work, Uses For Pavement, saw release on UK label Whitelabrecs in July 2017.
