Wolfgang Voigt maintains one of electronic music's most vast discographies spanning since the 1990s under various aliases including Mike Ink, Studio1, M:I:5, Love Inc., Freiland, Wassermann, and GAS, and runs Cologne based electronic label Kompakt. Voigt released music under GAS for the first time in 17 years this spring with the album, Narkopop. The record has been applauded by various outlets, including Pitchfork as Best New Music, with its infusion of dark, Ominous tones and his signature ambient, minimal techno sound.
