Continuing her lightning assent through the ranks of the international underground, Nicole Moudaber will release her debut artist album at the beginning of May. Believe will be available worldwide on May 6 through the renowned techno Swedish Drumcode imprint.

Believe is an impressive release, showcasing both Nicole's well-established voice as a top techno producer, and her ability to draw inspiration from different styles of electronic music. Beginning with the floaty and ethereal, yet driving, "Lumière Tamisée," Nicole establishes the voice of the album before "Movin' On" quickly comes in with a driving kick drum and classic, dark sound.
The next track "Take Hold," an intense, driving colaboration with Drumcode boss Adam Beyer, was recently premiered on RollingStone.com. "We've been talking about joining forces for awhile but time didn't permit with our hectic schedules," Moudaber told the esteemed publication. "There are plans to do more after the summer together; there will be more where this came from."
Then there's the industrial techno groove on "Come And Lay," featuring a distorted vocal from Nicole, and the hypnotic chanting vocal on "Get On It." Techno aficionados will not be disappointed with the offerings on this release, from dance floor bangers to dark, mysterious tunes.

There are also more intimate moments to be found, for example the rhythmically entrancing yet uplifting "Fly With You," to "Liberum Spirita," with its mazy ethereal breakdown. Nicole further flexes her production muscle with the stripped back dub-flavors of "Big Love With No Apology," and a robotic groove-laden funk on the standout "Can I Get Some."

Dubbed the "Queen of Techno" by many, Nicole Moudaber lives up to this lofty title throughout this inspired debut LP. Believe will impress both new techno initiates and long-time scene veterans alike.
