PAUL VAN DYK BENEFITS FEED THROUGH TARGET

FOR GOVERNORS ISLAND SHOW THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 11

TEAMS WITH RPM PRESENTS TO PROVIDE OVER 1800 MEALS

REVEALS DETAILS ON OFFICIAL GOOGLE+ PAGE

Known as much for his charitable works as his musical prowess, electronic iconoclast PAUL VAN DYK (PvD) has teamed with RPM Presents & Pacha NYC to benefit the non-profit organization FEED through its partnership with retailer Target. The Grammy-nominated DJ & producer will be selling off 40 Exclusive VIP FEED Picnic Baskets at his Governors Island show in NYC onSunday, August 11 from 4pm - 12am.

The initiative conceptualized by Paul van Dyk and The Aurelia Group will provide over 1800 meals to hungry children through the FEED organization. Each of the 40 exclusive one-off “picnic baskets” will be made up of FEED products from TARGET.com and will grant the purchaser to a special backstage meet & greet picnic with Paul van Dyk himself, as well as VIP access to the concert and a luxe culinary experience from one of NYC’s top restaurants.  20 of the FEED bags will be offered to fans who have already purchased tickets and 20 will be made available to the general public who have not yet purchased their tickets through the links below.

“It is gratifying to enable my fans to connect to FEED's efforts in such a positive way,” says Paul van Dyk. “Electronic music lovers are some of the most engaging people in the world, and I am indebted to them for helping make a difference.”

This event will be special for a myriad of reasons. It is Paul van Dyk’s only New York City

concert in 2013.  The performance will feature an all new visual show from PvD themed to accompany his highly anticipated upcoming album THE POLITICS OF DANCING 3 out later this year.

Tickets for the Governors Island NYC show—presented by RPM and Pacha NYC—are available now on Wantickets (http://bit.ly/11l4aRn) and Clubtickets (http://bit.ly/11l4rE8).

About FEED:

FEED began in 2006 when acclaimed model and activist Lauren Bush designed a bag to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme's (WFP) School Feeding program. As a WFP Honorary Student Spokesperson, Lauren visited countries around the world in Asia, Latin America, and Africa where WFP is operating and was inspired by the plight of the people she met on her travels. She took a special interest in WFP's School Feeding program, which feeds and educates hungry children. She first created the FEED 1 bag, a reversible burlap and organic cotton bag reminiscent of the bags of food distributed by WFP, to help raise funds and awareness around these school feeding operations. It was stamped with "FEED the children of the world" and the number ‘1’ to signify that each bag feeds one child in school for one year. And in 2007, FEED Projects LLC was founded by Lauren Bush and Ellen Gustafson to produce and sell these bags.

To date, FEED has been able to raise enough money through the sale of products to provide over 60 million school meals to children around the world through WFP. FEED has also partnered with the US Fund for UNICEF, raising much needed funds for their Vitamin A and micronutrient supplements program and providing over 46,000 children with essential nutrients.

In addition to the company, FEED started a nonprofit organization called the FEED Foundation, which is dedicated to supporting programs and organizations that are effectively working to fight hunger and eliminate malnutrition throughout the world.

Music is the Drug Radio w/ Corey Biggs & Professional Rockstars are Kickstarting their International  'Music is the Drug September 2013- December 2014 World Tour' 25+ Countries &  35+ Performances Will 2 Be or Bust?

http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/coreybiggs/corey-biggs-is-kickstarting-a-music-is-the-drug-wo

This is my 1st Tour as a musician & Dj performing throughout the "Universe" and I need your pledge in funding this tour to book all the "necessary flights in NEXT 30 DAYS! and all in all" so i can create my personal vision of 'Music is the Drug' thru "Corey Biggs" to the world.

I created 'Music is the Drug Radio' with Corey Biggs by accident? One of the early radio stations in 'Holland' said to me, "Corey, we cannot syndicate your radio show guest "Alone" if you do not play on it as well?

So here we are TODAY! Hooray THanks GroundFM in Amsterdam,Netherlands for the push 2 years

WHY THIS WILL BE SUCCESSFUL?

We all have a responsibility to give something back, to leave this world a better place for our having been here.

Being successful means helping others

It's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It's about what you've give back. It's like that saying " You'll never see a trailer behind a hearse." You know, you can't take it with you. The egyptians tried that and it didn't work?

WHO IS COREY BIGGS & WHY I AM YOUR "ROCKSTAR?"

I have always been a person that provided global publicity, leadership, & empowerment, touring 5 continents, writing, producing & covering artist for many years for electronic dance music, and other music genre of artists' to help others, create there music personal legacy, and now i need your PLEDGE!, in creating my own personal legacy of playing in every country possible, independently or not, No matter the battle to create & Just Do IT !

My Personal Legacy is all in all is in 'being'  "Music is the Drug, Professional Rockstars  & Corey Biggs to every creative culture in the world and persons i come across.....

My "Grand Strategy" in life, is not just to "make the world a better place" anymore, but to make it "Better than good!"

Music is the Drug = Rockstar NationMusic is the Drug = Rockstar Nation

Yesterday's discoveries are today's commonplace. I create the unorthodox to be orthodox in daily achieving of striving for mastery.

The mindset of all in all and you, should be I am 'whole, perfect, strong, powerful, harmonious and happy!

To not think this of thyself in my eyes is defeat!  I am an 'Outlier' and believe only in 'Mastery' & being 'purpose driven! by deliberate practice.

What is my STRATEGY?

My Strategy is,  to  Achieve 'Wisdom of Crowds momentum' with our 'Music Creative Anarchy Events & Creative Culture Insight through 'being' of awesomeness of performing for the masses in as many Countries we can situate events!

THE REASONING & URGENCY OF WHY YOU ARE PLEDGING TODAY?

The need in funding for My tour is as follows:

1. Travel expenses to get from show to show, since this is a Worldwide Tour (International Flights, Accommodations, visas, Food, merchandise and, security when necessary) and in some areas, our tour also in some region require pre-awareness of environment before event partaking, with regards to set-up.  (All this has to be set up with immediate Priority!)

2. Driven & Social Media Marketing in each and every niche region, we are creating shows, to have the exact right 'Return on Luck' for each and every event.

3, Equipment costs, range from Video & Audio production, promotional street teams and/or Posters, permits, work visas, guest artist, controllers, lighting, software, Music, Headphones, venue rentals, and many more that may be unknowable that will become knowable.

4. Tour Merchandise, such as CD's, Shirts, Stickers,Tote Bags & Posters to provide brand awareness and create the one to one perspective to our customers mindset to create the 'Awe' to our New Influences and Fans for memories to last 4ever within "Music is the Drug" branding!

5. Our Team, consist of not just 'Corey Biggs' the artist? We have our Tour Manager & Cinematographer that create our perception to the masses for all in all events.  Our staffing costs is one of our high hurdles which is the 'Rockstar' fundamental in need of this serious! project plan!

With that being said, The Working Capital that is also necessary, is to organize the shelves, curating spaces & event production, driven marketing and to make sure everything we do is exactly right and that is immediately available for better than good, pre-project planning!

With the 'Return of Luck' being enough to surpass our "bare minimum" goal of $95,785, in reality the extra funding needed, will go towards the flights for cinematographer & tour manager, and adding more dates to tour with quality substance for you my fans, is my No. 1 priority!

With that being said, the point in 'BEING', anything I raise above make me able to create the UNBELIEVABLE so it becomes Believable to YOU in Validation as the person who radiated love and warmth!

What is 'Music is the Drug Radio?'

What do I sound like?

WHAT IS Music is the Drug Branded Events Plan of Attack?

The Tour will be starting with South America in September, Europe, Asia then North America, Caribbean, Australia, Carnival Trinidad, Festivals, ADE Amsterdam,  and so many more! In each country and city we will be partnering, collaborating or creating our own 'Niche Rockstar Events' for the vision of the customer! (We are confirming dates in actuality now and updates will come with all in all confirmations when fully funded!)

The Music Events, we will arrange will all in all, at first be internally done & motif created by Professional Rockstars, in building the exact right concept to give the exact return on luck we are looking to achieve.

We will look to build regional tribes factions to create hopeful return events to exemplify my music majesty and build new influences in a music awareness initiative for each event going forward.

Our hypnotizing concept is to have our new influences and customers, the ability, to connect the one-to-one perspective with a "personal experience' in each and every events I produce.

Many people Communicate, few connect, is the reality. Our niche is connection from our reasoning and past achievements in providing global publicity through Music, Fashion and Lifestyle.

Just figures this Advertising is a Multi-billion dollar industry which is saturated, and we are "being" in the Alchemist to 'winning' in making it un-saturated through are vision in creation!

The Pledge

The Pledge of intrinsic value/barter in return for your Believable result in Validation & action will be; exclusive design authenticity, in creation of apparel for women & men, stickers, Cd's, invitation to events and all in all.

This is a 'no-brainer' in our 'being' as with reasoning yourself, you can see the perception of 'I' is knowing my left hand is the same as my right hand!

So to expect anything less than better than good would be a 'False image' and highly impossible!

Example: Women's Music is the Drug - Shirt from 1st Tour!Example: Women's Music is the Drug - Shirt from 1st Tour!

Example: Music is the Drug - Men's T- shirt From 1st TourExample: Music is the Drug - Men's T- shirt From 1st Tour

Why Kickstarter?

The reason, Kickstarter is this? Their is no such thing as altruism, everyone needs to receive something. Whether its monetary currency, food, a thank you phone call, a hug , a sticker: It has Intrinsic meaning! Giving is receiving and receiving is giving!

I Believe in the vision of people, It only takes one to make a change. Being Unbiased, Having empathy, not living in a narrative fallacy, and learning to re-learn is what make perfection, as it is all in all in the mindset that calculate where the 'now' in the heart that matters!

I want "Rockstar Pledgers" to believe in my personal legacy and know that they can say internally or externally, that they had a part in creating my personal legacy and success of build a Culture Creative of Knowledge, Music, Wisdom, through having 'Empathy' and not just making the world a better place, but making it better than good!.

**ALL SHIPPING COSTS ARE INCLUDED IN EVERY PACKAGE, NO MATTER WHERE YOU LIVE!**please bear this in mind when you look at the prices. it was easier to do things this way, but it also means, in the spirit of  mail democracy, that those of you living in ex. New York might be paying a little bit more to cover the shipping to the people in 3rd World Countries.

"You" ARE THE MEDIA: as soon as you support this "Kickstarter", TELL EVERYONE YOU'VE DONE IT, AND SPREAD THE "LOVE" FAR AND HIGH! & WIDE.

We Believe, Conceive and achieve this as the "Music is the Drug = Communal Project" ,where music lovers could get involved on many different levels and feel part of the project"

Risks and challenges

Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

The risk and challenges that come with creating "Music is the Drug" Branded events is knowing the environment, and knowing, the exact time, day and month to have the best return on luck in event productions! You need to know the vision of the customer and competition at present and be prepared before hitting the ground!

If possible and can see the willingness, we see fit, we will work in collaboration; only if their collaboration makes business sense and brand awareness reality in confirming motivation reasoning to the vision of our customer.

The unique challenges are weather, traveling delays, work visas, Natural Disasters, competition of local unforeseen events or International Holidays.

To tackle these issues, I will have more than many unorthodox strategies. All of events, the environment will be known prior and will be sorted first in post-preparation on ground by 'I' as if to blame anyone it would be myself only and team members and outsourced help in region from past tour knowledge.

Plus, trust me, past mistakes are the better than good learning tools, to have the best return on luck in having no mistakes!

Our only setback could be in Saturated markets, The cost in 'Driven Marketing' and reach in 'Call to action' with Social media. It may be necessary for a more counter-attack on ground with creating word of mouth marketing, personal guerilla marketing, or something of the unknowable.

"The setback", is when it does not work exactly right, reasoning back so that you know exactly what went wrong!

All in all our tactic relevance in strategy, is this! Put all you eggs not in separate baskets, but one basket; and watch that one basket very closely for the better than good result in "Knowing and learning to re-learn the art of Winning!.

HAVE A BETTER THAN GOOD DAY!

Balance Presents Guy J
(Balance Music/North American Release Date: August 6)

[Preview] Balance Presents Guy J - Listen Now

How do DJs imbue compilations with the sense of worth, majesty and mystery that they once had in the pre-internet age? The smart ones pour enough time, originality and exclusivity into their mixes to justify a purchase and to ensure that their effort stands the test of time. On his Balance Presents mix, Guy J achieves both in magnificent fashion.
One of John Digweed’s brightest discoveries of the last decade, the Israeli producer grew up listening to the Bedrock boss’ groundbreaking Northern Exposure mixes and Transitions radio show. “I think this is how I learnt about building up a mix” he says. “He can do intro, build-up, give you a taste of peak time and then finish it, and you can listen again and again and enjoy the mix each time. It's like a good movie.” It’s this focus on progression and evolution that makes Guy J’s music and sets so captivating, straddling the divide between deep progressive house and dubby techno with stunning flourishes of euphoric melody. On this incredible Balance mix, he has taken the essences of some of his best-loved tracks by other producers and filtered them through the prism of his own stunning sound, re-editing and reconstructing them to create a truly original listening experience.
“The idea of my mix for Balance is not to give just a regular mix of 80 minutes” Guy explains, “but to create, write and produce it.” This meant sourcing original tracks from friends and colleagues to work his magic on, as well as editing tracks less close to home and seeking permission to use them in his own special way. “I wanted to make it more special; to give the people who listen to it something that will be worth the time and creativity. Remaking tracks and remixing all thirteen of them to give a story is a hard mission - but I used every second I had to produce these tracks and to listen to what I had made.”
A truly epic reverbs embalms the yearning, ethereal strains of Flowers & Sea Creatures’ collaboration with DJ Yellow, No One Gets Left Behind, as the mix gently, beatlessly begins (think Radiohead dosed up on a Valium in a vast church). We effortlessly segue into the lush textures and exotic instrumentation of Roger Martinez & Secret Cinema’s Menthol Raga, deep bass and a warm beat brought gradually into play. From these monotone depths emerge the sorrowful bassline and heady atmospherics of Henry Saiz’s Sante Fe, and a bubbling interpretation of a Radio Slave accapella that heightens the energy considerably. Juan Deminicis’ Once Upon A Time tempers the mood back down, setting up the seductive melancholia of Navar’s Phases Of Grief for maximum impact, all brooding bass and emotive riffs.
Pezzner’s mix of Pavel Petrov’s Fever gets amped up into a hypnotic, head-nodding slice of deep tech house, moving perfectly into the rich strings and shimmering keys of Charles Webster’s Lanoiraude remix. Just as the energy is swelling, we’re pulled back down once again into the sumptuous sea of melody and warmth of his Dactilar Day One edit, the beat simmering down to near-nothingness. Again, it’s an expertly implemented lesson in contrast, the soaring motifs and heady vocals of Echomen’s Perpetual blossoming out of this pause for breath. Guy Matnzur’s I’m Your Country ramps up the momentum once again with hard-hitting bass interspersing heavenly breakdowns, and WOW’s Killaproviding a glistening penultimate slice of big room splendour. Robert Babicz’s Duba provides the dreamy swansong that rounds the mix off;another beatless beauty laden with spine-tingling emotion.
It’s all over too soon, demanding rapid repeat listening. It’s a mix to get lost in, and whose constituent parts are deftly blurred into the bigger picture.  “I think the tracks could be played in a club” concludes Guy, “but the way it’s all edited and mixed is more home-friendly... and of course, all music on this compilation has never been released.” This magical mix is sure to be a strong contender for one of 2013’s finest, and has everything going for it to live on well beyond those end of year lists.

* WARM, BASS DRIVEN ELECTRONICA WITH A VIDEO FOR EVERY TRACK ON THE ALBUM USING INCREDIBLE VISUAL TECHNIQUES*

Over the years he's remixed artists ranging from William Orbit to Queen, given sonic signatures to various movies and brands, sold out venues from Tokyo to LA, Moscow to London and forms a central part of his label -the legendary Twisted Music - who's nights have drawn crowds of up to 12,000 in the last year.

After 15 years and 7 albums, Even Tundra is the album Benji Vaughan always wanted to make. Up until now he has hidden behind various guises (such as Younger Brother, Prometheus and The Zap ) and done much of his work with the Godfathers of Psychedelic Electronica - Simon Posford and Raja Ram.

With Even Tundra the time came to remove the mask and avoid taking shelter in any particular scene or genre. He describes making the album as ' like making a folk record - just  me, my sound lab and an emotion or atmosphere i wanted to hear - not a dance floor i wanted to fill.'

The result is unique sound collage filled with understated sound manipulation and melodies that should be heard from end to end to fully appreciate.

The project will also feature a video for every track on the album which Benji has also produced himself , and contain some incredible visual techniques. The video for first single 'Even Tundra for example is quite simply astonishing. It looks like CGI when in fact Benji uses industrial magnets and  metallic 'Ferrofluid' (a mysterious liquid used to make computer gear that reacts to and forms solid structures on a magnetic field)  to create his other worldly effects.

The ferro fluid video idea came up when I heard about a mysterious liquid used to make computer gear that reacted to and formed a solid based on a magnetic field . I then searched around on YouTube and came across bizarre nerdy videos about ferro fluid and where they described it was a fluid filled with nano particles of iron and they also demonstrated how to film it using dslr cameras and reversed macro lenses. The water color idea just happened on the day of filming as my kids paint set was lying around.
On the day me and twisted's stage manager/ photographer set up a blue Peter-esque micro film studio in my living room and just played around all day filming the fluid react to very strong rare earth magnets and then injecting water color paint with a syringe. The rest was hours of final cut tweaking by me.” BENJI

Cassy mixes the next installment of the esteemed

fabric compilation series: fabric 71

Cassy performs at Electric Zoo on August 30 #SundaySchool

+ Summer 2013 Tour Dates

Rolling Stone “The 25 DJs That Rule the Earth"

It is rare for any artist to hold almost universal respect and admiration from the house music community. Cassy has effortlessly managed to garner this over the course of her career via a revered discography, critically acclaimed compilations for Cocoon and Panoramabar, and countless exceptional performances across the globe. Currently holding residencies at four of the world’s leading venues; Panoramabar in Berlin, Trouw in Amsterdam, Rex Club in Paris, and now Output in Brooklyn, NYC, it is clear that Cassy’s artistic nous has a global reach.

The roots of this story lay in Catherine Britton’s well-documented childhood. Born in London to a Caribbean father and Austrian mother, Cassy moved to Vienna at an early age. Surrounded by the ghosts of legendary composers in a city steeped in music history, Cassy’s love for music and the arts was nurtured by her parents.

“I listened to a lot of classical music when I was younger, and jazz, as that is what my family were into - George Benson was someone I saw in concert with my Dad. The first record I actually bought was Madness "One Step Beyond" - and I have never come back from that step!” – Cassy

Her first professional music outing was as a vocalist on Autorepeat’s "Music Takes Me Higher" on Sabotage Records. A relative latecomer to the DJ game, Cassy was encouraged by Electric Indigo to start mixing in her late 20s. Productions quickly followed, with a collaboration with Dave the Hustler for Mental Groove. During this time she also met Luciano, co-producing "La Ondita" on his album 'Blind Behaviour.' Since then the likes of Perlon, Playhouse and Dessous have all provided outlets for her sultry sounds.

However it is her prowess as a track selector that most influences her fabric mix. A seasoned vinyl crate digger, her time working in Berlin’s famed Hard Wax record store inevitably impacted on the cuts that comprise her DJ sets, and in turn the forthcoming release:

“The tracks on the mix all represent what I love about electronic music, and what I love playing. Simply, each track is individually beautiful – there is not much more to add. All of the producers are special in their own way. The project has come at a perfect time for me in terms of me being able to communicate where I am at artistically. I have aimed to get back to the roots of what this should be about for every DJ – namely playing records for the love of playing records – and not because of anything else.” – Cassy

As expected, fabric 71 provides a snapshot of Cassy’s raw unadulterated sound; that unashamedly intricate mix of stripped back hedonism and an all-encompassing warm sincerity.

Livio Improta’s "Mare010" sets the tempo with its racing spirally synths before the warmth of ItaloJohnson’s "06 A" provides a perfect segue into the middle section of the mix as it musters anthemic scenes in the listeners’ minds. John Talabot’s breathtaking "When The Past Was Present" is effortlessly layered between two cuts from Basic Soul Unit before Cassy stays true to her techno routes with tracks such as Affie Yusuf‘s dark intricate "Bring You Techno", the spatial and ethereal "Landwehr" from Marco Zenker, and of course Losoul’s "Brain of Glass," with its playful stabbing synths. Benjamin Damage’s "010x" provides heavenly chimes before the mix is rounded of with the sublime vocals on Duster Valentine’s "(My Back Is) Against The Wall."

Pre-order Cassy fabric 71 now at fabric online store. Cassy will officially launch fabric 71 at fabric UK on Saturday 17th August, alongside Craig Richards, Basic Soul Unit (Live) and more.

Nina Kraviz Reveals New Music Video 'Fire'

NINA KRAVIZ is a one-woman show. She sings, she produces, she DJs, and it’s for that reason that she is one of the most influential voices in the underground electronic world. Since breaking through with standout releases on Underground Quality, she has become an essential member of the Rekids family, releasing a string of EPs on the long running label including her self-titled debut album.

There are hypnotic and sensuous qualities to all of the music this Siberian makes: it stems from the way she works, using her voice as an instrument and preferring to record from the first take. Listen to the deep, stripped back but emotionally resonant tracks like those that make up her self-titled debut album and you will find it hard to disagree. For her new music video 'Fire', Nina worked with New York based photographer Yulia Skya. With her directorial debut, Yuliya took no shortcuts, heading to the desolate and ominous Death Valley, Mojave desert, to unearth not just a music video, but an art piece. She explains: "There exists a unique relationship, one between a finite being and the infinite. The project explores this in the Mojave desert, with Mars in mind".

ENTER & LiveBeats shared the same streaming ideals, so we pretty quickly agreed an approach that hopefully provides a window into the world of ENTER and showcases artist performances to corners of the world they might not otherwise be heard.
